FiranMUX got to hear me rant and rave about the poor quality of service I recieved from UPS. I ordered a wireless adaptor for my TiVo, which came with some other services as part of the package, and they delivered it to the wrong house. I suspect which house, but that's not the point. My issue with UPS was that when called, they essentially said - NOT OUR PROBLEM - and told me to call the person I ordered the item from to deal with the issue. I was livid, to the point that I was grumbling about all night - not just to Firan, but also to the housemates.
However, when I calmed down, I did end up calling TiVo. I explained to them my issue, and they were quite concerned about the treatment I recieved. They're sending the adaptor again, and this time - to make sure there are no issues for delivery - I had them send it to work. It'll be here either tomorrow or Friday. The man, Donovan, was very patient in helping me out, and more responsive that the woman who helped me from UPS who didn't care.
So, boo on UPS and yay on TiVo.
Soon, I shall be enjoying programming goodness yet again with my service.
