Sunday Overview

The Pitter Patter of Little Feet

Well, not really, but.... close....

Sunday I woke up sometime between 10:00 and 10:30 am to the sound of a high pitched squalling baby. I got 5 hours sleep, but that was my own fault for staying up so late. I don't regret any moment of it though. I had a good time just sitting up and chatting. However, I've come to have much sympathy for stephdray and adamdray for living so close to people with babies, especially babies that can reach that high of a decible when they squall. Wince! I went downstairs and talked to Adam for a bit about how the gaming industry has changed in terms of roleplaying games, while simultaneously trying to shake away that icky morning 'I want to be in bed' feeling. Eventually, he went to go finish Sunday's game preparations and I went to go get breakfast. Bagles. Yum.

D&D Gaming

The game was interesting. We all played 6th level pre-generated characters, a one shot adventure, to get introduced to a potential new player, Ken, who might be joining our adventure group. The adventure party consisted of me, kralentor, ironman, gwyndyn and the new guy Ken. Ken seemed alright, a little forceful in his RP, but not too bad. Half the party died in the end, but overall the adventure wasn't too bad. I don't think we used our characters to our full potential and I know I made some pretty bad decisions which lead to my character's demise. But, I had fun and that's what counts.

Actually, I never hear the baby unless I'm in the guest room (which is next to their town home's nursery room).

That's cause I put earplugs in your ear when you weren't looking.
