Yesterday's Activities

Yesterday went a lot more smoothly than I thought it would. I was more upset in the days leading up to yesterday than I actually was yesterday itself. I had the day off so Wednesday night I RP'd on Firan until about 3 am, and then got some sleep.

I got up early in the morning. Stupid body clock. I got a few things done on Cuendillar and Firan, and then the rest of the day I loafed about and did a few chorish type things. I caught up on some things copied into the TiVo -- trying to clear out some stuff. I think I need to turn the suggestions off, I never watch them. I had this undeniable urge to tackle the mess in my bedroom. Progress on that went very well. Lots of stuff picked up, a load of laundry done. Now I just need to put the laundry away before the pile hoardes together and attempts to attack me. Books are on the shelf and I can walk again. My bedroom is the only part of the apartment I allow to look like that since -- well, doors can be closed. But, it irritated me, so it got cleaned. Laundry got done.

Later in the evening I want to go see Herbie: Fully Loaded at the Muvico in Arundel Mills. I met adamdray there who conspired to keep me distracted for part of the day. We had dinner at Johnny Rockets -- which has amazing burgers -- and then saw the movie. I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a remake, but a continuation of the magic that is Herbie. It was very well done I think, and was a cute little movie. If I had a choice, and the funds, I'd definitely go see it a second time. Looking forward to it coming out on cable already!

I came home and wanted to fit in some RP, but just wasn't feeling in a very social mood. I watched more TV, finished off the group of Sliders shows I had waiting for me, and then went to bed eventually.

All in all, I had a very nice angst free day. I needed it.

Thanks to all of you who offered me your support!

I'm glad the day wasn't as bad as you thought it would be. You know, it's funny, but I've found that the days leading up to the anniversary of Dad's death are always worse than that day.

I've been thinking about you.

I'm glad your day was better than you expected, beautiful girl. You deserve peacefulness in your life.
